My name is Ágnes Morscher-Szénási, I was born in 1980 in Székesfehérvár. When I was 4 years old, my family and I moved to Pécs, where I went to elementary school for singing and music, then to high school. After graduation, I studied as a child and youth supervisor, and after the birth of my four children, I also obtained a qualification entitling me to operate a family daycare center, with which I was able to work in an English-Hungarian family daycare center. Since I really liked working with children, I decided to complete the kindergarten teacher training. Helping children achieve harmony in their physical and mental development is a vocation for me, in which I feel honored to be able to protect, guard, and strengthen the human values that are still clearly present in children: goodwill, selflessness, helpfulness, openness, acceptance, and the fact that they are permanent, foundational I can convey values to them in the playfully developing process of various activities in a joyful, loving atmosphere.
A very favorite quote for me, in which music pedagogue and music psychologist Klára Kokas formulated the role of the teacher: “A child embarks on a journey of discovery in science and art with the help of an adult. But the adult cannot discover one or the other for the child, because then he takes away the most beautiful thing from the child: the sensation of discovery. What can the teacher do? Together with the child, you can enjoy the discovered beauty and truth.”
